The first practical hat I've ever owned...

 was $6 from Primark

sat in my drawer for a year before I ever wore it

lets the wind in through it's weave

flops down around my face

doesn't need it's own checked bag to travel

makes me believe in hats again. 

*maybe the first convenient hat I ever owned was the felt fedora from Gap that I donated because I don't know why. it was navy.
