Parisiens Riding Bikes

I've mentioned this in an earlier post on Pairs, but one of my favorite parts of that city is how biking is integrated into their lives as they already are which, in the city, happens to be very stylish. Work wear is bike wear. In the states, it seems like, bike wear can be a sport of its own. There are so many technical options and styles, maybe due to the harsh weather conditions and distance we travel. I also wonder if this is another way Americans are more fussy by trying to be less fussy. We are so good at this. Who hasn't bought a parallel wardrobe for a single activity to make that activity more convenient. 

Bikers in Chicago - no matter how specific our wardrobes are - are some of the kindest people here and I'm honored to bike alongside them. But for this Monday morning, I leave you with Parisiens riding bikes:
